Since 1 January 2026, the Holiday Vital Resort has been managed by Urlaub an der Ostsee GmbH (Urlando). As Baltic Sea experts with over 40 years of experience, we are your personal point of contact right on site.

What is the difference between Resort 1 and Resort 2?

The Holiday Vital Resort is divided into two areas. Resort 1 additionally features its own sports field (for football, basketball and volleyball). The house types and amenities on offer are identical in both areas.

Where exactly is the Holiday Vital Resort located?

The resort is located in the Baltic spa town of Großenbrode at the tip of the Bay of Lübeck (Strandstraße 32, 23775 Großenbrode). The island of Fehmarn is just a few minutes' drive away via the Fehmarn Sound Bridge.

The Holiday Vital Resort comprises 165 charming Scandinavian-style holiday houses, nestled in the nature of the Baltic spa town of Großenbrode.

Yes, the Holiday Vital Resort is open all year round – whether for a summer beach holiday or a cosy retreat with sauna and wood stove during the colder months.

How do I receive my arrival information?

You will receive all the important information about your arrival at the Holiday Vital Resort by email about one week before the start of your holiday.

I'm arriving late – how do I get my key?

Accepted Answer

If the reception is already closed when you arrive, you can easily collect your key from a key box. The exact location of the key box and your personal code will be sent to you in good time before arrival.

Do all holiday houses have a sauna?

Yes, absolutely every holiday house at the Holiday Vital Resort has its own sauna as well as a cosy wood stove. House types B, C, D and E are additionally equipped with their own whirlpool.

How many parking spaces does my holiday house have?

Every holiday house in the resort comes with at least one of its own parking spaces.

Are linen packages included?

Accepted Answer

In most accommodations the linen packages are already firmly included in the price. The package comprises three-piece bed linen (sheet, pillowcase and duvet cover) as well as one large and one small towel.

Can I book fresh towels or an interim cleaning?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a change of bed linen/towels or a complete interim cleaning (cost equivalent to the final cleaning) can be added for a fee at the reception.

What are the dimensions of the cots?

The cots provided have the standard dimensions of 1.20 x 0.60 metres.

What is already included in the rental price?

Accepted Answer

As a rule, the final cleaning, electricity and water (as a flat rate) as well as free Wi-Fi are already included in the rental price. Each house also comes with at least one of its own parking spaces.

How far is the Holiday Vital Resort from the beach?

The fine-sand, family-friendly southern beach of Großenbrode is about 800 metres away and can be reached comfortably in roughly a 10-minute walk.

What can you do when it rains?

On rainy days simply enjoy the private sauna, the wood stove or the whirlpool in your holiday house. Alternatively, you can take trips to the Klaustorf Baltic Sea observation tower (approx. 6 km), the Meereszentrum Fehmarn marine centre or the Oldenburg Wall Museum (approx. 20 km).

What is the weather like in Großenbrode?

Großenbrode lies on the Wagrian peninsula and is one of the sunniest and at the same time least rainy regions on the German Baltic coast – the perfect conditions for relaxed beach days.

Are dogs allowed at the Holiday Vital Resort?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the resort is very dog-friendly. Up to two dogs are warmly welcome in most holiday houses. You can also enjoy wonderful walks with your dog on the western beach of Großenbrode (dogs must be kept on a lead).

What does the Urlando "dog kit" include?

Accepted Answer

For a surcharge of €10 we provide a dog kit on arrival. It includes a set of 2 loan bowls, a dog blanket (which you may keep as a souvenir), poop bags and tasty welcome treats.

Who can help if I've locked myself out?

Accepted Answer

If you have locked yourself out of your holiday house or lost your key, please contact the reception on site directly or by phone on 04561 - 61 39 39 0. In the event of a lost key, the fee for replacing it will be charged.
